Meadview is a small community in Mohave County, Arizona, United States. It is a special kind of place called a census-designated place (CDP), which means it's an area identified by the census bureau but not officially a city or town. Meadview is located very close to Lake Mead.
In 2020, about 1,420 people lived in Meadview. This was an increase from 1,224 residents in 2010. The community was started in the 1960s as a place for people to retire. Today, it's still a popular retirement spot and a great vacation place for those who want to enjoy Lake Mead.

Exploring Meadview's Location
Meadview is in the northern part of Mohave County. It sits at an elevation of about 2,986 feet (910 meters) above sea level.
It is about 67 miles (108 km) north of Kingman, which is the county seat. You can get there by taking Pierce Ferry Road. As you drive, you might see Lake Mead to the west, about 3 miles (4.8 km) away. The closest road access to the lake is about 11 miles (18 km) north. Pearce Ferry, located on the Colorado River at the western end of the Grand Canyon, is also nearby, about 14 miles (23 km) north of Meadview.
The United States Census Bureau says that the Meadview CDP covers an area of 31.0 square miles (80.39 square kilometers), and all of it is land.

Meadview has a hot desert climate. This means it gets very hot and dry, especially in the summer. It's known as a "BWk" climate on climate maps.
