Mikaela Madison Rosberg (born in 1998 or 1999), known as Mikey Madison, is an American actress. She started her acting journey in short films. She became well-known for playing Max Fox in the TV show Better Things from 2016 to 2022.
Madison also played Susan Atkins in Quentin Tarantino's movie Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019). Later, she starred as Amber Freeman in the horror film Scream (2022). In 2024, she gained a lot of attention for her main role in Sean Baker's film Anora. For this role, she won important awards like the BAFTA and Academy Award for Best Actress.

About Mikey's Early Life
Mikaela Madison Rosberg was born in Los Angeles. She grew up in an area called the San Fernando Valley. Both of her parents are psychologists. She has two brothers, including a twin, and two sisters. Her family is Jewish.
Before acting, Madison was a competitive horseback rider. She started acting when she was 14 years old. She was taught at home after finishing seventh grade. As of October 2024, Mikey Madison lives in Los Angeles.

Starting Out: 2013–2023
Mikey Madison first acted in short films in 2013. These films were called Retirement and Pani's Box. In 2014, she filmed her first full-length movie, Liza, Liza, Skies Are Grey. This movie was released later in 2017.
In 2016, Madison got a main role in the FX TV show Better Things. She played Max Fox in this comedy-drama series. The show ran until 2022. From 2017 to 2018, she also appeared in the TV show Imposters.
In 2018, she was in the movies Monster and Nostalgia. Madison became well-known for her role as Manson Family member Susan "Sadie" Atkins. This was in Quentin Tarantino's movie Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. The movie was very popular and earned a lot of money worldwide. In 2019, she also lent her voice to a character in the animated movie The Addams Family.
The next year, Madison was chosen for the movie Scream. This was the fifth film in the Scream series. It was directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett. The movie came out in 2022 and was liked by critics and audiences. It was one of the most successful movies that year. Many people said Madison was a great performer in the film.
Big Success with Anora: 2024–Present
In 2024, Madison had a supporting role in the TV mini-series Lady in the Lake. Then, Sean Baker chose her for the main role in his romantic drama film Anora. Baker wrote the character specifically for Madison after seeing her in Scream and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
For her role in Anora, she learned some Russian. She also did her own stunts, including two fight scenes. The movie first showed at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival. It received great reviews and won the Palme d'Or, a very important award. The film also earned a lot more money than it cost to make. Critics praised Madison's performance, especially her Brooklyn accent. They described her acting as "big and vivid, bold but charming."
