Mikhail Tszyunovich Ge (born May 17, 1991), known as Misha Ge, is a talented international coach, choreographer, and a former competitive figure skater. He is known for his artistic and entertaining performances on the ice.
During his skating career, Ge won a bronze medal at the 2017 Internationaux de France. He also won nine other international medals and became the Uzbek national champion four times. He competed in two Winter Olympics in 2014 and 2018, finishing 17th both times. He also placed in the top ten at six major international championships.

Personal Life
Misha Ge was born in Moscow, Russia. His parents, Larisa and Jun Ge, were both skating coaches. He has a diverse background, with Russian, Chinese, and Korean heritage.
When he was about 10 years old, his family moved to Beijing, China, where his parents worked as coaches. He also lived in Hong Kong, mainland China, and Taiwan. In 2009, he moved to the United States to train but returned to Beijing in 2013. Ge is multilingual and can speak Russian, Mandarin Chinese, and English.
Besides skating, Ge studied dance and choreography at the Beijing Dance Academy and the Hollywood Dance Academy. In February 2025, he married Park So-Youn, who is also a former competitive figure skater from South Korea.
Skating Career
A Talented Competitor
Misha Ge first tried ice skating when he was just three and a half years old. He began to train seriously at age ten after moving to China. In 2010, he started representing Uzbekistan in international competitions.
In the 2011–12 season, Ge won three silver medals at international events. He also placed 9th at the 2012 Four Continents Championships.
His 16th place finish at the 2013 World Championships was very important. It earned a spot for a male skater from Uzbekistan at the 2014 Winter Olympics. Ge competed in the Olympics in Sochi, Russia, and finished 17th.
The 2014–15 season was one of his best. He finished 6th at the 2015 World Championships in Shanghai. This was a huge achievement.
Overcoming Challenges
During the 2015–16 season, Ge had to deal with a left ankle injury. The injury happened while he was practicing difficult quad jumps. Despite the pain, he continued to compete.
In the 2017–18 season, he won his first-ever medal at a Grand Prix event. He earned a bronze medal at the 2017 Internationaux de France. He competed in his second Winter Olympics in 2018, again placing 17th.
He ended his competitive career after the 2018 World Figure Skating Championships. At that event, he finished in 9th place, his second top-ten finish at a World Championship.
