Exploring Negreira's Location
Negreira is in a great spot along the Tambre River. Long ago, it was on an important road that connected different areas. The river also helped connect central Galicia with coastal places like Noia.
Today, Negreira is a busy center for trade in its region. The town's population is still growing. This is partly because it's close to Santiago de Compostela. Also, a new road makes it possible to travel between Negreira and Santiago in just 15 minutes. Housing prices in Negreira are also lower than in nearby areas, which attracts more people.
