North Fambridge is a small village in the county of Essex, England. It's located on the Dengie peninsula, a piece of land that sticks out into the sea. The village sits on the north side of the River Crouch.
North Fambridge is across the river from South Fambridge. The village has its own train station, North Fambridge railway station. This station is part of the Crouch Valley Line, which connects several towns and villages.

History of North Fambridge
The village of North Fambridge has a long history. It was mentioned in the Domesday Book, a very old record from 1086. In this book, the village was called 'Fanbruge'. The Domesday Book was a survey ordered by William the Conqueror. It helped him understand what was in his new kingdom.
Nature and Wildlife
Right next to North Fambridge is a special place called Blue House Farm. This farm covers about 605 acres (2.45 square kilometers). It is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). This means it's a protected area because of its important wildlife or geology.
Blue House Farm is also a nature reserve. The Essex Wildlife Trust owns and manages this reserve. It's a great place for different kinds of plants and animals to live safely.
Sports and Activities
North Fambridge is known for hosting a big sports event. This event is the Fambridge Yacht Haven Middle Distance Triathlon. A triathlon is a race with three parts: swimming, cycling, and running.
The first triathlon here happened on July 24, 2011. It was the very first Half Ironman Triathlon in Essex. This type of race is a big challenge for athletes.

The village has a few places for people to gather and enjoy themselves. The local pub is called The Ferry Boat Inn. A pub is a traditional English place where people can meet, eat, and drink.
