Xoxocotlán International Airport (OAX/MMOX) is a big airport located in Oaxaca City, Oaxaca, Mexico. It helps people travel to and from Oaxaca. The airport has one main building, called a terminal, with ten gates. These gates are where passengers get on and off planes. This terminal handles all flights, both within Mexico and to other countries.
There is also a special waiting area called an airport lounge at the terminal. It is run by Global Lounge Network.

Where Does the Name Come From?
The airport is named Xoxocotlán International Airport because it is located in a town called Santa Cruz Xoxocotlán. This town is a southern suburb, or a smaller town very close to, Oaxaca City.
