Oekingen is a small town, also called a municipality, located in Switzerland. It is part of the Wasseramt district in the canton of Solothurn.

Oekingen was first mentioned in official records in the year 1263. Back then, its name was written as Otechingen.

Oekingen covers an area of about 2.4 square kilometers (which is about 0.9 square miles). A large part of this land, about 63.8%, is used for farming. This includes fields for growing crops and areas for pastures.
