Between November and December, Frankfurt won six out of seven games. They finished the first half of the season in sixth place. The second half of the season was not as consistent. Frankfurt finished the league in 11th place.

However, their European journey was amazing. They reached the Europa League final. They beat strong teams like Barcelona and West Ham United. They won the final against Rangers in a penalty shootout. Frankfurt stayed undefeated for 13 Europa League games. They also qualified for the Champions League for the first time since 1960.

In the next season, Glasner led Frankfurt to second place in their Champions League group. They played against teams like Tottenham. They lost in the round of 16 to Napoli.

Frankfurt was fourth halfway through the league season. But they finished seventh, securing a spot in the Europa Conference League. They also reached the DFB-Pokal final but lost. Glasner left Frankfurt at the end of the 2022–23 season.

Managing Crystal Palace
