Pura Lopez (born on September 29, 1962) is a famous Spanish shoe designer. She was born in Elche, Spain. Pura Lopez is in charge of the design team for her own shoe brand, also called Pura Lopez.
She designs shoes for members of the Royal Family and for Spanish movies.

Early Life and Career Start
Pura Lopez grew up in Elche, Alicante, Spain. Her father, Antonio Lopez Moreno, started a family shoe business in 1964. So, Pura was always around shoes and how they were made. This helped her learn a lot about shoe design and how to build them.
Even though she loved art, Pura didn't first plan to work in the shoe or fashion world. In 1979, she began studying Interior Design in Alicante. Then, in 1981, she studied Fashion Design in Valencia.
In 1984, Pura went to New York City to take a special course in Clothing Fashion Design. A year later, she moved to Milan, Italy. There, she learned how to design and make shoes at the ARSUTORIA School. This was a very important time for her. She was always connected to the fashion world. In 1986, Pura Lopez joined her family's business. She started working in the design and production areas. Soon after, her family decided to create a new brand for women's shoes.
