Rocket Fizz is a super fun chain of stores across the United States. They specialize in all sorts of soda, candy, and cool novelty items. Imagine a place filled with unique treats!
The company sells many different kinds of candies. They also make their own special sodas with really interesting flavors. Their first store opened in 2009 in Camarillo, California. It was a flagship store, meaning it was their main, most important location.
Rocket Fizz also finds candies that are hard to find elsewhere. Some of these are old favorites from the 1960s to the 1980s. As of November 2018, there were 91 Rocket Fizz stores in the U.S. You could also find two stores in Canada!
Awesome Candies and Unique Sodas
Rocket Fizz is famous for its huge selection of candies and soft drinks. For example, a store in Beaverton, Oregon, sells over 4,000 types of candy! It also has more than 500 kinds of soda.
Another store in Cary, North Carolina, offers over 1,200 candies. Plus, it has over 430 different soft drinks. Many of their sodas are called "novelty soft drinks" because they are so unusual.
Rocket Fizz makes its own sodas under the Rocket Fizz brand. One very popular soda they make is bacon soda. Yes, it tastes like bacon! In 2012, this bacon soda was the best-selling drink at their Denver, Colorado, store.
Indianapolis Monthly magazine said the variety of sodas was "overwhelming." They also said there were "copious amounts" of candy. This just means there's a ton to choose from!
In 2017, Rocket Fizz started a special line of sodas with the band KISS. These sodas included Destroyer Kola and KISS Army root beer. They also had Rock And Roll Over Cherry Kola.
Rocket Fizz also makes other wild soda flavors. You might find ranch dressing-flavored soda or buffalo wing-flavored soda. They even have coffee soda and one called "dog drool"!
Besides treats, the company sells fun novelty items. These include cool retro items from the past. You can also find funny prank gifts there.
