Rocky Mountain Holiday is a special TV show and a music album. It stars the famous singer John Denver and, of course, The Muppets! Imagine John Denver taking your favorite Muppets like Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy on an amazing adventure. They go deep into the beautiful Rocky Mountains for fun activities. They try fishing, go hiking, and even camp out under the stars. The album with all the songs came out in November 1982. The TV show first aired on May 12, 1983, on the ABC channel. In 1984, the album was even nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Album for Children! However, it lost to Michael Jackson's E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial storybook album.
