Bang Hyun-sung (Hangul: 방현성; Hanja: 方縣成), known professionally as Ryan Bang, is a popular host, comedian, actor, singer, and vlogger from South Korea. He is based in the Philippines. Ryan is one of the few Korean celebrities who have become famous on Philippine television. Other well-known Koreans include Sandara Park, Sam Oh, and Grace Lee.
Ryan first became famous in the Philippines through the reality show Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Clash 2010. He finished as the first runner-up in the show. After that, he hosted his first show called 3ow Powhz! on Studio 23. Since 2012, Ryan has been a regular host on the popular ABS-CBN variety show It's Showtime. He is also the main host of the reality show Dream Maker.

About Ryan Bang's Early Life
Ryan Bang was born on June 16, 1991, in Seoul, South Korea. He is an only child. In 2005, his parents separated.
Ryan has also ventured into the food business. In February 2024, he opened his own Korean cuisine restaurant called Paldo. On March 16, 2024, he co-owned a Mexican-themed coffeehouse called Siesta Horchata Café in Quezon City. This café is the first one focused on horchata drinks. Ryan co-owns it with Paola Huyong.
On June 29, 2024, Ryan announced that he was engaged to Paula Huyong.
Ryan Bang's Television Journey
In May 2010, Ryan Bang joined the Pinoy Big Brother house. He was one of eleven housemates. After 56 days, he received enough votes to reach the "Big Night." He ended up as the Second Big Placer, getting 18.70% of the votes.
In August 2010, Ryan became a guest judge on the comedy variety show Showtime. He stayed on the show until October 2011. He also hosted his own show, 3ow Powhz, on Studio 23. Ryan appeared in the comedy gag show Banana Split and was a guest on Kim Atienza's program Matanglawin.
On January 1, 2011, Ryan was named one of the "breakthrough artists" of 2010 on the show Entertainment Live. On May 25, 2011, he released his first album, I Lilly Lilly Like It: Ryan Bang Party Party Hits!.
