Scott Kellerman Foley (born July 15, 1972) is an American actor, director, and producer. He is well-known for his roles in popular TV shows like The Unit, Scrubs, Felicity, and Scandal. He also played Roman Bridger in the movie Scream 3. You might have also seen him in guest roles on shows such as Grey's Anatomy and Dawson's Creek.

Scott Foley's Early Life
Scott Foley was born on July 15, 1972, in Kansas City, Kansas. He was the first of three boys. His dad worked as an international banker. Because of his dad's job, Scott's family lived in Japan and Australia when he was a kid. When Scott was 15, his family moved to St. Louis, Missouri. Sadly, his mother passed away from ovarian cancer when he was also 15 years old. Scott went to Ladue High School and later graduated from Clayton High School. His family background includes English, German, Irish, and Scottish roots.
Scott Foley's Acting Career
Scott Foley's big break came when he played Noel Crane on the TV show Felicity. He also had recurring roles on other popular shows. He played Sean Kelly, who was Elliot Reid's boyfriend, on Scrubs. He also appeared as Cliff on Dawson's Creek.
Movies and TV Shows
In 2000, Scott appeared in the horror movie Scream 3. He played the character Roman Bridger. For this role, he was nominated for a Teen Choice Award for Choice Movie Villain.
Scott also starred as Sergeant First Class Bob Brown in the military drama The Unit. This show ran for four seasons. He also made a guest appearance on House as a baseball pitcher.
After appearing on Grey's Anatomy, Scott became a guest star on the hit show Scandal. He played Captain Jake Ballard. Later, he became a regular cast member on the show. In 2019, Scott played the main character in the ABC drama Whiskey Cavalier. He also guest-starred in the police drama The Rookie in 2020.
Directing and Producing Work
Besides acting, Scott Foley has also worked behind the scenes. He directed one episode of Felicity called "The Graduate." He also directed three episodes of Scandal and one episode of The Unit. Scott also produced a TV show called A.U.S.A., where he also acted.
In 2013, Scott made his first movie as a writer and director. It was called Let's Kill Ward's Wife. His wife, Marika Domińczyk, his sister-in-law Dagmara Domińczyk, and his brother-in-law Patrick Wilson all starred in the film. Other actors like Donald Faison, Amy Acker, and Nicollette Sheridan were also in the movie.
Scott Foley's Personal Life
On October 19, 2000, Scott Foley married actress Jennifer Garner. They met when she was a guest star on Felicity. Scott and Jennifer separated in March 2003 and later divorced.
Scott then got engaged to Polish-born actress Marika Dominczyk in 2006. They got married in a private ceremony in Hawaii in June 2007. They have three children together: a daughter named Malina (born November 2009) and two sons named Keller (born April 2012) and Konrad (born November 13, 2014). Scott's sister-in-law, Dagmara Domińczyk, is also an actress and is married to actor Patrick Wilson.
Scott appeared on a TV show called Who Do You Think You Are?. On the show, he learned about his family history. He found out that one of his ancestors, Samuel Wardwell, was involved in the Salem witch trials. Another ancestor, Simon Wardwell, was part of General George Washington's special "Life Guard" during the Revolutionary War.
