Scriba is a small town in Oswego County, New York, United States. In 2010, about 6,840 people lived there. The town gets its name from an early landowner, George Scriba.
The Town of Scriba is located east of the City of Oswego. It was formed in 1811 from a part of the Town of Volney. Back then, Volney was known as the Town of Fredericksburg.
Scriba has many important services for its residents. These include a fire department and a highway department. It also has a justice center and a water department. For families, there is a child care center. The town also offers fun outdoor spaces like a town park and Sunset Bay Park, which has access to the lake.
Two large power plants are located in Scriba. These are the Nine Mile Point Nuclear Generating Station and the James A. FitzPatrick Nuclear Power Plant.
Most of Scriba uses the zip code 13126 and has an "Oswego" mailing address. However, a small part of the town uses zip code 13069. This area uses "Fulton" for its mailing address. The small community of Lycoming, which is part of Scriba, has its own post office. It uses zip code 13093, but only for PO boxes.

Scriba is located right next to Lake Ontario. It also borders the City of Oswego and the Oswego River. The town is about 40 miles north of Syracuse.

- Scriba – This is the main community, also called a hamlet. It is located near Route 104 and Creamery Road.
- North Scriba – Another small community in Scriba. It is at the crossing of County Routes 1 and 29. The North Scriba Union cemetery is here.
- South Scriba – This community is also in Scriba. It is found where County Routes 4 and 29 meet.
- Lansing – A community in Scriba located at the intersection of County Routes 4 and 53.
