Tamarack is a small city in Aitkin County, Minnesota, in the United States. In 2020, about 57 people lived there. Tamarack is located along Minnesota State Highway 210. It is also near Aitkin County Roads 6 and 16.

History of Tamarack City
Tamarack started as a settlement around 1874. It was first known as Sicottes. A post office opened there in 1898. The community officially became a city in 1921. Tamarack grew when the Northern Pacific Railway built train tracks nearby. These tracks connected Duluth to Brainerd.

Tamarack is located in the state of Minnesota. The city covers a total area of about 3.58 square miles (9.27 square kilometers). All of this area is land. There are no large bodies of water within the city limits.
