Tanza Varela (born Constanza Andrea Varela De La Barra on 15 April 1991 in Temuco, Chile) is a Chilean actress and model. She became well-known for her part in the TV show Corazón Rebelde on Canal 13.

Early Life and Education
Constanza has two sisters, María Josefina and Aaron Semple. She first appeared on the cover of Tú magazine in Chile when she was only 14 years old.
In 2010, she finished her studies at the College of San Francisco de Alba in Las Condes.

Corazón Rebelde and Early TV Shows
Tanza Varela was part of the TV show Corazón Rebelde on Canal 13. She played the character Victoria López, who was a close friend of Cote Colucci. Other actors in the show included Ignacio Garmendia, Denise Rosenthal, and Augusto Schuster.
In 2010, she appeared on Mira Quién Habla on the TV channel Mega. She was a panelist on this show. She also acted in several episodes of the series Chilevisión Infieles. Tanza was a guest star in Teatro en Chilevisión with actor Patricio Torres. She also had a role with her sister, Aaron Semple, in the movie "The Matrix". They played mind readers who fought Neo.
Later in 2010, she worked as a reporter for UCV Television's show En Portada. She reported during a Nike running event in Santiago de Chile.
Reality TV and Radio Work
In 2011, Tanza Varela joined the reality show Año 0. This show was on Canal 13.
She was a guest on many TV programs. These included Bienvenidos, Quiero mi fiesta, Alfombra Roja, and Primer Plano. She also appeared in an episode of Infieles with actress Patricia López.
On July 1, 2011, she became the godmother of the Chilean national football soccer team. This was part of the Alfombra Roja program. A few days later, on July 13, she joined the youth program Yingo on Chilevisión. She stayed on this show for about one month.
On September 12, Tanza started her own radio show called "Con todo el Power" with Heber Espinoza. It was on Píntame FM Radio. Later that month, on September 19, she was chosen as "Reina de Colina 2011".
She was then hired by Televisión Nacional de Chile. She became a judge on El Experimento 24/7. This was the first online reality show in Chile. She also appeared as a guest on Calle 7 and Un Minuto para Ganar. However, El Experimento 24/7 was taken off the air on November 7 due to low viewership.
On November 18, she announced on Twitter that she would be part of Premios Juveniles Gold Tie. She was nominated for "Revelation's popular youth" and "youthful face" awards.
