The second season of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles TV show first aired from November 8, 2003, to October 2, 2004. It started with an exciting episode called "Turtles in Space, Part 1: The Fugitoid." This season has 26 episodes filled with adventure and new challenges for the Turtles.

Awesome Adventures of the Turtles

This season kicks off right after the first one ended. The Turtles are suddenly sent to an alien world called D'Hoonibb. They quickly get caught in a big war between two alien groups: the Triceraton Republic and the Galactic Federation. Both sides want Professor Honeycutt, who has plans for a special teleportation device.

The Turtles end up on the Triceraton home world. After they rescue Professor Honeycutt, some friendly aliens called Utroms teleport them back to Earth. The Utroms also helped heal Splinter, the Turtles' sensei. He was hurt after a fight with the Shredder, who also survived! The Shredder tries to attack again, but the Utroms escape with Honeycutt. It's then revealed that the Shredder is actually an alien criminal named Ch'rell.

After the Shredder's defeat, a big gang war starts in New York City. Different groups fight to control the Shredder's old territory. These groups include the rest of the Foot Clan, the Purple Dragons (led by Hun), and the New York mafia (helped by Baxter Stockman). Leonardo and Raphael argue about whether they should get involved.

But the Turtles decide to help Karai, the Shredder's adopted daughter. She wants to take control of the New York Foot Clan and bring peace back to the city. They agree to a truce. However, the Shredder is still alive! Karai's loyalty to her father and her own sense of honor become a big problem for her later on.

In the final episodes of the season, the Turtles follow Splinter to the Battle Nexus. This is a special kingdom where the greatest warriors from different universes compete in a tournament. The Turtles meet new friends like Miyamoto Usagi and Murakami Gennosuke. They work together to stop a plan by the Ultimate Daimyo's own son and Splinter's old enemy, Drako.
