The History of Tentlingen
Tentlingen was first mentioned in old records between the years 1201 and 1212. Back then, it was known as Tentenens.

Tentlingen is in the Sense district. It sits above a deep valley called the Ärgera/Gérine canyon. It is also located southeast of the city of Fribourg. The town itself is a linear village, meaning its buildings are mostly spread out along a road.
