The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening is an exciting action-adventure video game created by Nintendo. It was first released for the Game Boy in 1993. In Japan, it's known as Zelda no Densetsu: Yume o Miru Shima (ゼルダの伝説 夢をみる島, lit. "The Legend of Zelda: Dreaming Island").
This game is part of the famous The Legend of Zelda series. It was later updated for the Game Boy Color in 1998. This new version had full color graphics and some cool new features.

What is Link's Awakening About?
Link's Awakening tells a unique story. The main hero, Link, gets caught in a big storm. His boat crashes on a mysterious place called Koholint Island. To escape, Link must wake up the legendary Wind Fish. But first, he needs to find eight special musical instruments.

Later, the game was released again for the Virtual Console on the Nintendo 3DS. This allowed new players to enjoy the classic game. It brought the adventure to a new generation of fans.
