Trevor Wesley Pryce II (born August 3, 1975) is a former American football player. He played as a defensive end for 14 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). Pryce started his college football career at the University of Michigan. He later transferred to Clemson University. The Denver Broncos picked him in the first round of the 1997 NFL draft. After his football career, Trevor Pryce became a writer.

Early Life
Trevor Pryce was born in Brooklyn, New York. He went to Lake Howell High School in Winter Park, Florida. There, he was a great player in football. He was also a talented hurdler in track and field.
College Football Days
Pryce played as a defensive end for Clemson University in 1996. Before that, he had played for the University of Michigan. He decided to leave college early to join the NFL Draft. This meant he gave up his last year of college football.
Playing in the NFL
Trevor Pryce had a long and successful career in the NFL. He played for three different teams. He was known for his strong defensive play, especially for getting sacks.
Denver Broncos
The Denver Broncos chose Pryce as the 28th player in the 1997 NFL draft. In his first year, he played in eight games. He made 24 tackles and had two sacks. His first NFL game was on November 2 against the Seattle Seahawks.
In his second year, he started 15 games. He made 43 tackles and had 8.5 sacks, which was his best at the time. He helped the Broncos win two Super Bowl championships in a row: Super Bowl XXXII and Super Bowl XXXIII.
In 1999, he had a career-high 13 sacks and made his first Pro Bowl. He continued to play well, earning Pro Bowl honors for four years in a row (1999-2002). In 2004, he had back surgery and only played in two games. He played his last year with the Broncos in 2005.
In 2009, the Broncos named Pryce to their 50th Anniversary Team. This was a special honor for his time with the team.
Baltimore Ravens
Pryce joined the Baltimore Ravens in 2006. In his first season with them, he started all 16 games. He made 47 tackles and tied his career-high with 13 sacks. His strong play helped the Ravens have the best defense in the league that year. They also set a team record with 60 sacks.
In 2007, he missed most of the season due to an injury. He returned in 2008 and 2009, continuing to contribute to the Ravens' defense. On September 29, 2010, the Ravens released him.
New York Jets
Right after leaving the Ravens, Pryce signed with the New York Jets on September 30, 2010. He played 10 games for the Jets that season.
After Football
After the 2010 AFC Championship Game, Trevor Pryce decided he was done playing football. He officially retired in 2011. He finished his career with 91 sacks and 448 tackles.
Becoming an Author
In 2013, Trevor Pryce started a new career as a writer. He published his first young adult book series called Kulipari: An Army of Frogs. He wrote it with Joel Naftali and Sanford Greene did the illustrations.
In 2016, Netflix turned his book series into an animated show, also called Kulipari: An Army of Frogs. In June 2016, it was announced that Pryce was writing a comic book sequel. He worked with Joshua Starnes and illustrator Sonia Liao on this project.
Family Life
Trevor Pryce has a sister named Nandi Pryce. She is also a talented athlete. Nandi used to play soccer for the United States women's national team.
