Urszula Radwańska (born on December 7, 1990) is a professional tennis player from Poland. She is often called Ula by her fans.

Urszula has won one doubles title on the WTA Tour, which is a major tennis circuit. She also won seven singles titles and eleven doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit, another professional tennis tour. Her highest singles ranking was world No. 29, which she reached on October 8, 2012. In doubles, she reached No. 74 on September 21, 2009. As a junior player, Urszula won the Wimbledon girls' singles title in 2007. This made her the world's No. 1 junior player at the end of that year. She is the younger sister of famous tennis player Agnieszka Radwańska.

Urszula's Tennis Journey

Urszula Radwańska started her professional tennis career after a very successful time as a junior player. She won several big junior tournaments, including the Grand Slam title at Wimbledon in 2007. These wins helped her become the top junior player in the world.

In 2007, Urszula began playing in main draws of WTA Tour events. She reached the quarterfinals at the Bangkok Open. She also won a doubles title with her sister Agnieszka at the İstanbul Cup.

At Wimbledon in 2008, Urszula played in her first Grand Slam singles match. She played against the two-time champion Serena Williams and showed a strong fight, even though she lost. A commentator noted that she was very skilled and understood the game well.

Breaking into the Top 100 in 2009

In February 2009, Urszula played against her older sister Agnieszka for the first time in a professional match at the Dubai Tennis Championships. Urszula won the match in two sets.

At the Indian Wells Open, she defeated Svetlana Kuznetsova, who was a highly ranked player. This was her biggest win at the time. Her good results at this tournament helped her enter the top 100 singles rankings for the first time.

Later that year, she played in the French Open, Wimbledon, and the US Open. She reached the second round at Wimbledon.

2010–2011: First WTA Semifinal

Urszula had to take a break from tennis in 2010 for back surgery. After six months, she returned to play. At the US Open, she won her first main-draw match of the year.

In 2011, she reached the third round at the Indian Wells Open. She also made it to her first WTA Tour semifinal at the Tashkent Open.

2012: Reaching the Top 30

In 2012, Urszula started the season strong. She won a $75,000 tournament in Nottingham on grass courts. This win helped her qualify for the London Olympics. She also reached her first career WTA final at the Rosmalen Open, but she lost to Nadia Petrova.

At the Wimbledon Championships, she played doubles with her sister and reached the third round. Urszula continued to play well in other tournaments, reaching the quarterfinals at the Silicon Valley Classic and Southern California Open. She ended the 2012 season with a strong record of 47 wins and 29 losses.

2013: Fed Cup Success

Urszula started 2013 by playing in several tournaments. She had a notable win over Venus Williams, a seven-time Grand Slam champion, in the first round of the French Open. She also reached the fourth round at the Indian Wells Open.

She continued to play in many events, including the Wimbledon Championships and the US Open Series. Urszula finished the year ranked No. 43 in the world.

2014: Shoulder Injury and Ranking Drop

In 2014, Urszula had to withdraw from the Australian Open because of a shoulder injury. This injury affected her performance throughout the year, causing her ranking to drop. She played in some tournaments but struggled to win matches.

2015: New Coach and Comeback Efforts

Urszula hired a new coach, Maciej Domka, in 2015 to help her improve her game. She reached three WTA quarterfinals that year, showing signs of getting back to her best form. In July, she reached her first WTA semifinal in almost three years at the İstanbul Cup. She then made it to the final, but lost the match. She finished the season ranked No. 95.

2016: Ankle Injury and Further Ranking Drop

In 2016, Urszula faced another challenge when she suffered an ankle injury. This injury forced her to retire from a match at the Mexican Open. She returned to play later in the year but her ranking continued to fall. She ended 2016 ranked No. 261.

2017: Ranking Continues to Fall

By the end of 2017, Urszula's ranking had fallen to No. 524.
