Villars-le-Terroir is a small town, also called a municipality, located in Switzerland. It is part of the Gros-de-Vaud area in the canton of Vaud. Think of a canton like a state or a large region within Switzerland.

The town used to be part of the Echallens District. But in 2006, it became part of the newer Gros-de-Vaud district.
