Welcome to the Volo Museum! It's a super cool place in Volo, Illinois, near Chicago, where you can see amazing cars. The Grams family started it way back in 1960. It used to be called the Volo Auto Museum, but now it's just the Volo Museum.
This museum is special because it's not just a place to look at cars. It's also a place where you can buy some of the awesome vehicles on display! You'll find all kinds of cars, from old-school classics to more modern ones. The museum really loves American cars from the 1950s to the 1980s.
But wait, there's more! The Volo Museum has over 50 famous cars from TV shows and movies. Imagine seeing the actual cars driven by your favorite characters! They also have cars that belonged to famous people. Plus, there's a huge, one-of-a-kind display of characters from Disney and Looney Tunes.
The museum is huge, spread out over 75 acres with five big buildings full of exhibits. One of the cool exhibits is the "Armed Forces Exhibit," which shows off military vehicles and items. You can also explore four antique malls on the museum grounds. One of these old shops even has some interesting ghost stories! The museum even had its own TV show called Volo, House of Cars on the History channel, starting in 2017.
