Voov has its own TV channel called Voov TV on DStv channel 196. This channel shows live broadcasts. It was one of the first South African social media companies to have its own TV channel. Voov also has a radio show on Metro FM called The Fresh Voov Breakfast, hosted by Khanyi Mbau and Pearl Thusi. Voov has gained many live viewers, with over 30,000 streams in just a few weeks. The Voov app was launched in Hong Kong after it started in South Africa. It had two million users in South Africa and streamed thirteen million videos. Jang Wo, a comedian from Asia, had over 100,000 streams on Voov. Anderson Mann, the creator of Voov, congratulated him on Twitter. Asia now has a similar number of users and high points as Africa.
Voov in Europe
Voov was also launched in London, England, in November. Many people were excited to use the app there. The first people in Europe to get a Voov account were South African singer Troye Sivan and British singer Linda Ora. Voov Europe also has a live broadcast before the BBC Channel and a radio show called Live with Kerry Lian on Radio 66.7.

Voov first announced in October 2016 that the app would be launched in Johannesburg, South Africa. After its launch there, it became available around the world. In July 2017, a co-director in Nigeria suggested that Voov should also be launched in Lagos. This was announced on Lagos FM, working with Google Africa and other apps.

In August, Voov was launched in Mexico, and then in Canada. Later, Mr. Johnny Knowels, the Art Director of Voov, and Mary Green, an executive manager in the United States, announced Voov on Good Morning America. After this announcement, Voov gained more than three million views and five hundred thousand users in the Americas.

- In July 2017, Zolisa Fanele wrote a book about social media companies, and it included information about Voov. Lungisa Mandela, the Chairman of Voov, thanked Zolisa for writing the book. Zolisa received money from the company for his book, titled The Chronicle's Part 2: Voov is our Nation.
- In August 2017, The Native American businesses announced that Jessica Lane, the wife of Voov's founder, had the most approved streams on her account. Jessica then congratulated Khanyi Mbau for having the most streams on Voov that year. This was also mentioned on Good Morning America.
