Vuiteboeuf is a small town, also called a municipality, in Switzerland. It is located in the canton of Vaud, within the Jura-Nord Vaudois area. The town sits at the bottom of the Sainte-Croix hills and includes a smaller area called Peney.

History
When Vuiteboeuf Was First Known
Vuiteboeuf is a very old place! It was first written about in the year 1028. Back then, its name was Vaitibo.

Where Vuiteboeuf Is Located
Vuiteboeuf covers an area of about 5.1 square kilometers (about 2 square miles). A large part of this land, almost half, is used for farming. This means people grow crops or raise animals there.
Another big part of the land, about 43.5%, is covered by forests. The rest of the area has buildings, roads, or small rivers.
