Vully-les-Lacs is a cool town, also known as a municipality, located in Switzerland. It is found in the Vaud canton and is part of the Broye-Vully district. This area is known for its beautiful lakes, which is why "Lacs" (meaning "lakes" in French) is part of its name!

History of Vully-les-Lacs
Vully-les-Lacs is a fairly new municipality. It was officially created on July 1, 2011. Before this date, it was made up of seven smaller towns that decided to join together.

The seven towns that merged to form Vully-les-Lacs were Bellerive, Constantine, Chabrey, Montmagny, Mur, Vallamand, and Villars-le-Grand. They decided to combine their resources and communities to become one larger municipality. This kind of merger can help towns work together more efficiently.
