Saint-Aubin is a small town, also called a municipality, located in the Broye district. It is part of the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland. In 1991, another nearby town called Les Friques joined with Saint-Aubin.

History of Saint-Aubin
Saint-Aubin was first mentioned in old records in the year 1056. Back then, it was known as Sancti Albini. For a while, it also had a German name, St Albin, but this name is not used anymore.
Geography and Land Use
Saint-Aubin covers an area of about 7.9 square kilometers (about 3 square miles). A large part of this land, about 81.5%, is used for farming. This means people grow crops and raise animals there.
