Domdidier was once a small town, or municipality, located in the Broye district of the canton of Fribourg, Switzerland. It's known for its beautiful castle.
In 2016, Domdidier joined with three other nearby towns: Dompierre, Léchelles, and Russy. Together, they formed a new, larger municipality called Belmont-Broye.

Domdidier is in the Broye district. It sits along the main road that connects the towns of Payerne and Murten.
The area of Domdidier is about 8.9 square kilometers (3.4 square miles). A large part of this land, about 68%, is used for farming. Forests cover about 15% of the area. The rest of the land is where buildings and roads are found.
Besides the main village of Domdidier, there are also two smaller areas. These are tiny settlements called hamlets. They are named Granges-Rothey and Eissy.
