Russy was once a small town, also known as a municipality, located in the Broye district of Fribourg canton in Switzerland. It had its own local government and community.
However, Russy no longer exists as a separate municipality. On January 1, 2016, Russy joined with three other nearby towns: Domdidier, Dompierre, and Léchelles. Together, they formed a new, larger municipality called Belmont-Broye.
