The Willisau District is one of five special areas in the Canton of Lucerne, Switzerland. It is located in the German-speaking part of the canton. The main town and capital of the district is Willisau.
As of 31 December 2020, about 55,079 people live in the Willisau District. In 2013, its name changed from "Amt Willisau" to "Wahlkreis Willisau." This was part of a bigger plan to reorganize the canton. Even with the name change, the district mostly stayed the same.
