101 Dalmatians is a fun movie from The Walt Disney Company. It came out in 1996. This film is a new version of the 1961 animated movie called One Hundred and One Dalmatians. Both movies are based on a book by Dodie Smith from 1956.
In this live-action movie, Glenn Close plays the famous villain, Cruella de Vil. Instead of cartoons, real dalmatian dogs are used in the film. These dogs do not talk in the movie. A second movie, 102 Dalmatians, was released in 2000. In Japan, this movie is simply known as 101.
