The UEFA Euro 1980 was the 6th UEFA European Football Championship tournament. It was a big football competition for European national teams. The tournament happened in Italy from June 11 to June 22, 1980.

Eight teams qualified to play in the final part of the tournament. Czechoslovakia was the champion from the last Euro in 1976. In the end, West Germany won the tournament. They beat Belgium in the final match.
