Aladia Airlines was a Mexican airline. It was known for offering low-cost flights. The airline was based in Monterrey, Nuevo León.
Aladia started flying in December 2006. It used four Boeing 757-200 airplanes. These planes flew to many places both inside and outside Mexico.
However, Aladia Airlines stopped all its flights on October 21, 2008. This happened because of a big financial problem around the world at that time. Even though it stopped flying, the airline was never officially closed down. Its license to fly is still valid. This means it could possibly start flying again someday.
