The Alice in Wonderland franchise from Disney began in 1951. It started with the animated movie Alice in Wonderland. This movie was based on the famous books by Lewis Carroll. These books are Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (1865) and Through the Looking-Glass (1871). Both books feature the character Alice. Later, a live-action movie directed by Tim Burton was released in 2010.

Disney's Alice in Wonderland Movies
The Original Animated Film (1951)
Alice in Wonderland is a classic animated fantasy film from 1951. Walt Disney Productions made it. The movie mainly uses ideas from Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. It also includes some parts from Through the Looking-Glass.
This film was the 13th animated feature from Disney. It first came out on July 26, 1951. Kathryn Beaumont voiced Alice. She also voiced Wendy Darling in the 1953 movie Peter Pan. Ed Wynn was the voice of the Mad Hatter. The movie's main song, "Alice in Wonderland", is now a well-known jazz song.
The Live-Action Movie (2010)
Alice in Wonderland is a fantasy film from 2010. Tim Burton directed it, and Linda Woolverton wrote the story. Walt Disney Pictures released the movie.
The film stars Mia Wasikowska as Alice Kingsleigh. Other famous actors like Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, and Helena Bonham Carter are also in it. The movie was filmed in both the United Kingdom and the United States.
The Sequel: Alice Through the Looking Glass (2016)
Alice Through the Looking Glass is a fantasy film released in 2016. James Bobin directed this movie. It is a follow-up to the 2010 Alice in Wonderland film. Linda Woolverton wrote the script again.
The movie features many of the same actors. Mia Wasikowska, Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, and Anne Hathaway returned. New actors like Sacha Baron Cohen and Rhys Ifans joined the cast. The film was released on May 27, 2016.

Adventures in Wonderland was a live-action musical TV series. It was based on Disney's animated Alice in Wonderland movie. In the show, Alice, played by Elisabeth Harnois, could go to Wonderland by walking through her mirror. This idea comes from Lewis Carroll's Through the Looking-Glass book.
Once Upon a Time in Wonderland (2013–2014)
Once Upon a Time in Wonderland was an American fantasy-drama TV series. It aired on ABC from October 2013 to April 2014. This show was a spin-off from the popular series Once Upon a Time.

Alice in Wonderland (2000)
This Alice in Wonderland game was a platform video game. Digital Eclipse Software developed it. Nintendo published it for the Game Boy Color. It came out in North America on October 4, 2000. The game's story follows the 1951 animated movie.
Alice in Wonderland (2010)
Another Alice in Wonderland action-adventure video game was released in 2010. Disney Interactive Studios published it. You could play it on Wii, Nintendo DS, Windows PC, and Zeebo. Richard Jacques composed the music for the game.
Alice in Wonderland in Kingdom Hearts
Wonderland is a world you can visit in some of the Kingdom Hearts video games. Characters from the 1951 Disney film also appear in these games.
Alice in Wonderland in Disney Infinity

Alice's Curious Labyrinth is a hedge maze ride at Disneyland Park in Disneyland Paris. It opened in 1992 with the park. It is part of the British section of Fantasyland.
Mad Tea Party
The Mad Tea Party is a popular spinning teacup ride. You can find it at all five Disneyland-style theme parks. The ride is inspired by the Unbirthday Party scene in Alice in Wonderland. Many people know this ride for how much it spins!

This is a dark ride in Fantasyland at Disneyland in Anaheim, California. It is based on the animated Alice in Wonderland movie. This ride is right next to the Mad Tea Party ride.

The album also has songs inspired by quotes from Lewis Carroll's original book. Buena Vista Records released it on March 2, 2010. It became very popular, reaching number five on the Billboard 200 music chart.
