Special Puja Issue
Every October, during the Bengali festive month, Anandamela releases a super thick special issue called the Puja Number. This issue is almost 400 pages long! It's a big deal because it often includes a brand new thriller novel from Sunil Gangopadhyay's Kakababu series.
You'll also find a full-length Feluda comic based on a story by the famous director Satyajit Ray. This special issue is packed with five to six complete novels, many short stories, interesting articles, and three full comic strips, some of which can be up to 60 pages long!
The Puja Number started way back in 1971, even before the regular fortnightly issues. It used to cost just Rs. 2.00. Sunil Gangopadhyay and Satyajit Ray are the only writers whose stories have been in every single Puja Number since the magazine began.
Anandamela Club
Anandamela also has a special club for its readers. If you become a member, you can join various programs, competitions, and fun activities throughout the year. It's a great way for kids to connect and have more fun with the magazine!
