Ann Louie Li (born January 17, 1995, in Bangkok, Thailand), known as Ann Li, is a businesswoman, fashion expert, and TV personality. She is from both the Philippines and Taiwan. Ann Li is also a former actress, model, and photographer.
She spends her time in Manila, Taipei, and Paris. Ann Li was the first person to win a Shorty Award for fashion on social media. She was also the youngest person (at 22) to be on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list for arts. Magazines like Vogue and L'Officiel have called her an It girl. This means she is a very popular and stylish young woman.
In 2012, Ann Li started a photography blog called AnnSnaps. This blog grew into a bigger lifestyle website called Ann Louie Li in 2016. Her website worked like an online magazine. In 2017, Vogue Taiwan made her an official Insider. She then started AnnSpeaks on Vogue, where she talked about her personal life, not just photography. She also writes for Vogue Beauty Taiwan. Her blog is the first and only one on Vogue that is in two languages.
In 2017, she started a company called Chrysogem. This company sells high-quality chrysocolla stones to fancy jewelry brands.

Ann Li's Early Life
Ann Li was born in Bangkok, Thailand. Her mother is a Taiwanese businesswoman and former singer. Her father is a Filipino-Chinese businessman and engineer. Ann Li grew up in the Philippines. Later, she moved to Paris, France, after getting a scholarship to attend IFA Paris. She uses her mother's last name (Li) and her father's last name (Louie) as her middle name.
As a child, she went to Southville International School and Colleges in the Philippines. At age 14, she decided to be homeschooled. She wanted to focus on figure skating. She finished high school when she was only 15 years old.

Television Shows
Ann Li was a "Teenternational Housemate" on the reality show Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Clash 2010. This show was on ABS-CBN. She was known as the "Diligent Daughter of Taiwan." She joined the house on Day 22. She was part of a group of teenagers who were not fully Filipino. Ann Li left the house on Day 75. She was the last housemate to be voted off that season.
Viewers really liked her friendship with James Reid. They had a loyal fanbase called the JamLi Poppers. These fans would even throw parties for them. In 2010, James Reid was asked who he wanted to work with in the future. He said, "Honestly, Ann." This became a popular phrase among their fans. Some fan books were even written about them.
Ann Li was also part of the "Mondeerrifics" group on Shoutout!. This was a teen variety show on ABS-CBN.
She had a special role in the TV series GoodVibes in 2011. She played Lucy Ledesma, a famous celebrity.
She also appeared in two episodes of Maynila. This is a Filipino drama show on GMA Network. In "Maynila: Queen's Secret," she played Reina Gil. In "Maynila: Bored to Love," she played Jenna, a college student.
On July 24, 2011, Ann Li and Fretzie Bercede were featured in a song. It was called "Can't Dance" by James Reid and Bret Jackson. They released their first digital album, We Are Whatever, on ASAP Rocks.

Ann Li also acted in a stage play with Patrick Sugui. The play was called "Basketball Fight." She played Alicia, the main female character. The play was directed by Mel Magno. It first showed on November 19, 2011.
Ann Li's Fashion Career
When she was 14, Ann Li started designing her own costumes for figure skating. But she really showed her passion for design during Pinoy Big Brother Teen Clash 2010. The housemates had a task to redesign clothes from Von Dutch. Ann Li did all the styling and directed the fashion show. Their team won the task. This helped them get extra spots for the "Big Night" finale.
In the same year, she walked for the Jelly Bean show at Philippine Fashion Week. She also started her own clothing line called DNA.
She attended the Star Magic Ball, a big event for young stars. She wore a designer gown, but later changed into one of her own designs. She has worn her own designs to the annual ball ever since.
After winning the "Best Fashion" award at the Shorty Awards in 2011, Ann Li was invited to walk for Candie's. This was during Philippine Fashion Week. Famous stars like Vanessa Hudgens and Britney Spears have also worked with Candie's. Ann Li opened the show for one of their fashion segments.

The Shorty Awards are sometimes called the "Oscars of Twitter." On March 28, 2011, Ann Li won the award for "Best Fashion" on social media. She received the most votes out of 1,861 nominees. Other nominees included One Direction member, Harry Styles, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, and Taylor Swift. She was nominated again for the same award in 2013.
On October 1, 2011, Ann Li won the title "Ultimate Female Teen Fashionista." This was from a blog called "Piece of Speaks." She beat five other people for the title. The blog said she won because she has her own unique style.
After that, on October 4, 2011, Ann Li also won "Most Popular Teen Star of 2011." This was from "EnteRvrexWorld," a Philippine entertainment poll site.
Ann Li was also on the list of Top 100 Philippine Artists of 2011. She was ranked number 96 on the "EnteRvrexWorld" site.
In June 2016, Ann Li was featured in Vogue Taiwan. They called her the "It girl" of the season. She was noted for having a million fans on Facebook.
L'Officiel Manila included her in a list of "9 Filipinas Taking The Fashion World By Storm." They wondered what else this young woman could achieve. She relaunched her website as an online magazine on June 19, 2016.
In 2017, Forbes magazine put Ann Li on their "30 Under 30" Asia List for "The Arts." She was the youngest person on this list at 22 years old. She was also among the youngest in the "Celebrities" group, alongside stars like Lorde and Margot Robbie. Forbes invited her to speak at the Under 30 Summit in Manila. She talked about "Art as a Medium for Change." She was also a judge for Miss World Philippines 2017.

Charity Work
In 2010, Ann Li created a Facebook page to auction her "yellow bunny hoodie." The money raised went to Lola Vita and Lola Lourdes. These were two elderly people from Hospicio de San Jose who visited the Pinoy Big Brother house. In January 2011, Ann Li visited them and celebrated her pre-16th birthday with her fans. Later, her clothing brand (DNA) helped a charity called Future Faces Manila. She styled models wearing her clothes for their fashion show.
Ann Li is also a founding ambassador for IMPCT. This group won the 2015 Hult Prize, given by former US President Bill Clinton. She held an online contest for her followers. They took creative photos to show the importance of education.
