Ashley Miles Greig (born March 3, 1985) is a former American artistic gymnast. She is now the head coach for the women's gymnastics team at Iowa State University. Ashley was part of the U.S. team at the 2001 World Gymnastics Championships in Belgium. Her team won a bronze medal there. She also made it to the vault final, finishing eighth.

Ashley's Elite Gymnastics Career
Ashley Miles Greig grew up in San Antonio, Texas. She was a member of the U.S. Junior National Team from 1997 to 2001. Then, she joined the Senior National Team from 2001 to 2003.
Junior National Competitions
Ashley competed in her first U.S. Junior National Championships in Denver, Colorado, in 1997. She placed second on vault and tenth in the all-around competition.
In 1998, at the Junior Nationals in Indianapolis, Indiana, she finished eighth on vault. The next year, in 1999, she placed second on vault and ninth on balance beam at the Junior Nationals in Sacramento, California. She also competed internationally, placing fourth all-around at the Japan Junior International Championships.
At the 2000 Junior Nationals in St. Louis, Missouri, Ashley placed third on vault.
Senior National Competitions
In 2001, Ashley became a senior gymnast. She was chosen for the U.S. World Championship team. This happened after she finished fifth in the all-around at the 2001 U.S. Senior National Gymnastics Championships in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. At this event, she also tied for second place on vault.
The next year, in 2002, she placed third on vault at the Nationals in Cleveland, Ohio. Ashley also won the all-around and balance beam titles at the 2002 Spring Cup in Toronto, Canada. The U.S. women's team also won the team title at this event.
College Gymnastics Career
After her elite gymnastics career, Ashley received a scholarship to the University of Alabama. She became a very successful college gymnast.
During her time in college, Ashley won the NCAA national vault titles three times: in 2003, 2004, and 2005. She also won the national floor exercise title in 2004.
In 2006, Ashley was named the National Collegiate Gymnast of the Year. She also received the Honda Sports Award, which honors top female college athletes.

Coaching Career
On April 26, 2023, Ashley Miles Greig was named the head coach for the Iowa State University Women's Gymnastics team. She is the eighth person to lead this program.
