Bogis-Bossey is a small town, also called a municipality, located in the Nyon area of the Vaud region in Switzerland. It's a peaceful place with a mix of homes, farms, and forests.

Bogis-Bossey was first written about way back in 1135. Back then, it was called Bittgeium ad pontetulum.
Where is Bogis-Bossey?
Bogis-Bossey covers an area of about 2.5 square kilometers (about 1 square mile). A big part of this land, almost 60%, is used for farming. About 28% of the area is covered by forests. The rest, around 13%, has buildings and roads.
The town is located on the left side of the Versoix river. It includes the main village of Bogis, which is right on the border with the French town of Divonne-les-Bains. It also has smaller areas called hamlets like Bossey, l'Hostellerie, Petit-Bossey, and Belle-Ferme. You can even find Bossey Castle in the hamlet of Bossey!
