Brandon Lee Graham (born April 3, 1988) is an American professional football player. He plays as a defensive end for the Philadelphia Eagles in the National Football League (NFL). The Eagles chose him in the first round of the 2010 NFL draft. He was the thirteenth player picked overall. Before joining the NFL, he was an All-American college football player at the University of Michigan.

In high school, Brandon was a highly praised linebacker. He was even a captain for the 2006 U.S. Army All-American Bowl. Many lists named him an All-American. He was also a finalist for some of the biggest awards a high school football player can get.

Brandon was named co-MVP of the Big Ten Conference in 2009. This award is called the Chicago Tribune Silver Football. He led the nation in tackles for a loss per game in 2009. He also led the Big Ten in tackles for loss in both 2008 and 2009. By the end of his college career, he had 29.5 sacks and 56 tackles for loss.

In the NFL, Brandon was a second-team All-Pro in 2016. He was also chosen for the Pro Bowl in 2020. He led the Philadelphia Eagles in sacks with 9.5 during their 2017 NFL season. That year, the Eagles won Super Bowl LII. Brandon made one of the most important plays in that game. He forced a fumble from Tom Brady in the final minutes. At Crockett, Brandon played many roles on the football team. He was a linebacker, offensive guard, placekicker, and punter. As a junior, he helped his team reach the state championships. He was named to the All-Detroit team. Crockett won the Detroit Public School League Division 1 championship.

In one game, he had twelve tackles and four sacks. He also forced four fumbles and blocked two punts. He even scored on a fake punt play. He was chosen for the Associated Press first-team Class B all-state team as a linebacker.

Top High School Player

Recruiting experts thought Brandon was one of the best high school players in the country. Rivals.com ranked him as the top prospect in Michigan. Scout.com called him the number one linebacker in the Midwest. ESPNU also ranked him highly.

Before his senior year, The Detroit News named him the best high school player in Michigan. He was very fast, running a 40-yard dash in 4.43 seconds. As a senior, he was chosen to play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. He was also a finalist for the Parade All-America High School Player of the Year award. This award is like the Heisman Trophy for high school players. Brandon was elected captain of the East team in the All-American Bowl.

Brandon received many awards for his great high school performance. These included Parade Magazine All-American and Michigan Gatorade Player of the Year. He was the first player from Michigan to play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

Brandon Graham joined the University of Michigan team. He was first listed as a linebacker. But before his first season in 2006, he switched to defensive end. He was one of five new players to play in the first game of the season. Brandon was a backup to a very famous player named LaMarr Woodley.

In 2009, Brandon was named co-MVP of the Big Ten Conference. He led the nation in tackles for a loss per game. He also had 10.5 sacks that season. He finished his college career with a career-high 5 solo tackles for losses against Ohio State. He was chosen for several All-America teams. Brandon was named the team MVP again, making him the first defensive player at Michigan to win this award twice. He also earned MVP honors at the 2010 Senior Bowl.

Before the NFL Draft, Brandon showed his skills at the NFL Combine. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.72 seconds. He also did 31 repetitions on the bench press.

His teammate Derek Barnett recovered the ball. This play helped the Eagles win the Super Bowl 41-33. It was the team's first Super Bowl victory.
