Cheyenne David Jackson (born July 12, 1975) is a talented American actor and singer. He is well-known for his leading roles in Broadway musicals and plays. He has also appeared in many films and television shows. Besides acting, Cheyenne Jackson is a successful concert singer and has released several music albums.
He started his acting journey in local theaters in Seattle, Washington. Later, he moved to New York City to pursue his dream. His first big role on Broadway was in the musical All Shook Up in 2005. Cheyenne grew up in a small town called Oldtown, Idaho. It was a rural area near the Washington border. His mother taught him and his siblings to sing. They often listened to music by artists like Joan Baez and Elvis Presley at home.
Moving to New York City
As a teenager, Jackson moved to Spokane. Later, in Seattle, he worked in advertising. He also did some theater work on the side. After 2001, he decided to move to New York City. His goal was to become a full-time actor.
