Crystal Nicole grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. She loved music from a young age. She started singing at talent shows. She also performed at open mic nights in Atlanta. Crystal wrote her very first song when she was just ten years old.

Crystal Nicole on The Voice
In 2023, Crystal Nicole tried out for the 24th season of the TV show The Voice. During her audition, only one coach, Reba McEntire, turned her chair. This meant Crystal joined Reba's team.
Later in the show, Crystal competed against a teammate. Reba chose her teammate to move forward. Another coach, John Legend, had a chance to "steal" Crystal for his team, but he decided not to. This meant Crystal Nicole's journey on The Voice ended there.
