Darhyl Camper Jr. was born on May 25, 1990. His hometown is Atlantic City, New Jersey. When he was just six years old, he started playing the piano. He grew up in the Mays Landing area of Hamilton Township, Atlantic County, New Jersey. Later, he graduated from Oakcrest High School in 2008.

Making Hit Songs

DJ Camper started making a name for himself in the music world. In 2011, he helped produce a song for Big Sean called “Marvin & Chardonnay.” This song became a number one hit on the US Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

In 2012, he received a special honor. He was nominated for a Grammy Award. This was for his work on the song “Refill” by singer Elle Varner. After that, DJ Camper worked with many famous artists. These included Tamar Braxton, John Legend, Nicki Minaj, and Jay-Z.
