Denver International Airport facts for kids
The Denver International Airport (often called DIA) is a very big airport located in Denver, Colorado. It's actually the largest airport in the United States when you look at its total area! In 2015, it was one of the busiest airports in the world, ranking 19th. DIA opened in February 1995, taking the place of an older airport called Stapleton Airport.
