Erin attended Hazelwick School in Crawley. She was also a very skilled football player. Erin played in midfield and was the captain for a team called the Crawley Wasps. She was even noticed by the Chelsea Women's football club. However, when she got older, Erin had to choose between football and acting. She decided to focus on acting.
She first studied acting at the Guildford School of Acting for one year, from 2011 to 2012. After that, she continued her training at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School from 2012 to 2015. While she was still a student, Erin won an important award in 2015. It was the Stephen Sondheim Society Student Performer of the Year Award.
