Faulk County is a county located in the state of South Dakota in the United States. It's a place with a rich history and beautiful natural areas.
As of the 2020 census, about 2,125 people live here. The main town and county seat (where the county government is) is Faulkton.
The county was first created in 1873 and officially organized in 1883. It was named after Andrew Jackson Faulk, who was the third Governor of Dakota Territory.
