Fenin-Vilars-Saules was a small municipality (like a town or local area) in the canton of Neuchâtel in Switzerland. It was part of the Val-de-Ruz district.
History
Fenin-Vilars-Saules was created in 1875. This happened when three smaller places, Fenin, Vilars, and Saules, decided to join together.
Later, on January 1, 2013, Fenin-Vilars-Saules joined with many other municipalities. These included Boudevilliers, Cernier, Chézard-Saint-Martin, Coffrane, Dombresson, Engollon, Fontainemelon, Fontaines, Les Geneveys-sur-Coffrane, Les Hauts-Geneveys, Montmollin, Le Pâquier, Savagnier, and Villiers. All these places became part of a new, larger municipality called Val-de-Ruz.
