Frazerview is a small countryside area, also called a locality, in Queensland, Australia. It's part of the Scenic Rim Region. In 2021, only 36 people lived there.

Where is Frazerview?

Frazerview is found in the Fassifern Valley, which is a farming area. It's west of a main road called Cunningham Highway. A small river, Warrill Creek, runs along the south-eastern edge of Frazerview. This creek eventually flows into the Bremer River.

In the west of Frazerview, you'll find Mount Fraser. The sides of this mountain are still covered in plants and trees. Kangaroo Mountain is in the middle of the area. Closer to Warrill Creek in the east, there are farms that use irrigation (a way to water crops).

A Look Back in Time

Frazerview had its own school, Frazerview State School, which opened on 25 November 1915. Sadly, just three days later, the school building was destroyed by fire.

It was rebuilt and opened again one year later. The school taught children until December 1975. It closed because not enough students were attending. The remaining students then went to Engelburg State School in Kalbar, which is now called Kalbar State School. The old school was located at 420 Frazerview Road.
