Glenwood is a city in Pike and Montgomery counties in Arkansas, United States. In 2020, about 2,068 people lived there. The city is located along the Caddo River in the beautiful Ouachita Mountains.

Glenwood started as a busy "boomtown." This happened when the Gurdon and Fort Smith Railroad was built, and timber (wood) businesses grew in the area. After a large lumber mill was set up, Glenwood got its own post office and became an official city in April 1909. Even though its main employer left during the Great Depression, the city has grown a lot in recent years. Many people also visit Glenwood because of its pretty location in the Ouachita Mountains and its closeness to several fun lakes.
