Ha Seok-ju (Hangul: 하석주; born February 20, 1968) is a South Korean football manager and former player. He was known for being one of the few left-footed players in South Korea during his time. He played as a winger or left-back.

Ha Seok-ju's Football Journey
Playing for South Korea
Ha Seok-ju was an important player for the South Korea national football team. He played in two FIFA World Cup tournaments: 1994 and 1998 FIFA World Cup.
In the 1998 World Cup, he played in the first game against Mexico. He scored the first goal of the game with a great free kick. However, just three minutes later, he was given a red card and sent off for a tackle. After he left the field, South Korea gave up three goals.
Because of the red card, he could not play in the next game against the Netherlands. South Korea lost that game 5–0. He returned for the last game against Belgium. In that match, he helped Yoo Sang-chul score an equalizing goal, again from a free kick.
Ha Seok-ju was involved in both of South Korea's goals in the 1998 World Cup. However, his red card caused disappointment among fans. He also felt bad towards the team manager, Cha Bum-kun, who was later removed from his position during the tournament.
Club Career Highlights
Ha Seok-ju played for several football clubs during his career. He started his professional journey with Daewoo Royals in 1990. He played there for many years, until 1997. During his time with Daewoo Royals, he played 158 games and scored 34 goals.
He also played for Japanese clubs like Cerezo Osaka and Vissel Kobe. With Cerezo Osaka, he played 17 games and scored 2 goals. For Vissel Kobe, he appeared in 65 matches and scored 11 goals.
Later, he returned to South Korea to play for Pohang Steelers from 2001 to 2003. He played 57 games and scored 3 goals for them. In total, he played 297 club games and scored 50 goals in his professional career.
International Appearances and Goals
Ha Seok-ju played for the South Korean national team from 1991 to 2001. He earned 94 caps (appearances) for his country. During these games, he scored 23 goals. He also played 5 games for the South Korea U23 team, scoring 1 goal.
