Hanna is a town located in Central Alberta, Canada. It is about 57 kilometers (35 miles) northeast of another town called Drumheller.

History of Hanna

Hanna started as a small settlement in 1912. It officially became a town in 1914. The town got its name from David Blyth Hanna. He was an important leader at the Canadian Northern Railway. Hanna was a key stop for the railway. It even had a large building called a railway roundhouse for trains.
